this guy i knew from boston used to write letters in the 90s to corporations and would get letters back like this - he had a zine he published, that was “rich mackin’s corporate poetry”, it was pretty famous. he was a kinko’s store manager so he did the photocopies for free. the birth of this part of the internet i am pretty sure was all of us working at photocopying places, part time at least, so we could put out zines and band and event flyers for free (i did the same for a while, when i was a dj and worked at clubs and stuff)
